The Committee shall have a minimum of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. A minimum of three (3) members of the committee shall be citizens knowledgeable in airport and aviation matters. Volunteers shall be nominated by a selection committee. The City Council Liaison to the Airport, and a City department head or designee shall serve as ex-officio members of the Committee. The Committee chairperson shall be elected by the Committee members. This Committee shall meet at least once per calendar quarter. All Boards, Commissions and Committees are responsible for preparing their own minutes and agendas, which are posted on this website by staff as are notices of upcoming meetings. Meetings are held in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act. All emails, letters and documents to or from committee members having to do with City business may be subject to public records requests and shall be retained by members, with few exceptions.

The Fresh Waterways Advisory Board, whose mission is to advise the Ocean Shores City Council, the Mayor and professional staff of the public works and police departments in the areas of fresh waterways administration and maintenance. The Board consists of five (5) members, who are appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council, from citizens who reside in the City. No member of the Board shall receive any compensation for his/her services. Meets 2 pm First Monday of the Month, at the Library.
KOSW 91.3 FM Radio Board
The Radio Board is composed of five (5) volunteer members who each serve a three year term and may be reappointed. Volunteers are nominated by a selection committee, appointed by the Mayor, and confirmed by the City Council. The City Council Liason shall be an ex-officio member. The purpose of the Board is to provide leadership and direction to the Radio Group in meeting the requirements of its mission. The Board meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Canterbury Inn. No member of the Board shall receive any compensation for his/her services. Website.
The Library Board as five members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Term is five (5) years. Duties are management of the Public Library as set forth in OSMC Chapter 2.60. Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00 PM at the Library. Bob Krueger - President
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
The LTAC has five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. They serve two-year terms. One member is from the City Council and serves as chair, two members are from businesses required to collect the Lodging Tax, and two are from organizations which may be funded from the Lodging Tax. The City sets the amount available from the Lodging Tax pool and may call for written proposals. Proposals may be submitted to the City Clerk only between September 1 - 14 (or the following Monday if the 14th falls on a weekend). The LTAC then meets and makes recommendations to the City Council. Membership shall be reviewed annually by the Mayor. Meets as necessary. The process is determined by RCW 67.28.1816 and 67.28.1817, as revised in 2013, and City Resolution passed April 27, 2015.
The Parks Board is composed of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members meets regularly and advise the City of the needs of the various City parks.
