POSITION:
Paid-Call Firefighter
SALARY RANGE:
Usually at least one dollar above minimum wage
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to emergencies.
Takes an active role in training, fire prevention and public education.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of a paid-call officer
or career member performs maintenance on facilities, apparatus,
and equipment. Conducts and participates in training activities.
Assists with implementation of fire prevention and public education
programs. Performs any other duty that is assigned or required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a valid Washington driver's license.
Ability to pass Washington State Volunteer Physical
Ability to pass a background check
First Aid and CPR card after acceptance
EMT or First Responder desirable
Live fire training and/or firefighter certification or accreditation
desirable
