Fresh Waterways advisory Board
The Board shall advise the Mayor, the City Council, and City staff as appropriate,
regarding the administration and maintenance of the City's fresh waterways. The Board
shall work with the assistance of and in cooperation with the public works and police
departments.

There is hereby created a Fresh Waterways Advisory Board, whose mission shall
be to act in an advisory capacity to the Ocean Shores City Council, the Mayor and
professional staff of the public works and police departments in the areas of fresh
waterways administration and maintenance. Said Board shall consist of five (5)
members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council,
from citizens of recognized fitness for such positions and who reside in this City. No
member of the Board shall receive any compensation for his/her services.
