Airport Development and Operating Committee
The Ocean Shores Municipal Airport, W04, with a 3,100 foot long and 55 foot wide asphalt runway. Located at:498 Duck Lake Drive NE just opposite North Shore Park. Elevation 13 feet, on the eastern edge of the peninsula at 47° 00.2 ' N 124° 08.5 ' W
The Committee shall have a minimum of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. A minimum of three (3) members of the committee shall be citizens knowledgeable in airport and aviation matters. Volunteers shall be nominated by a selection committee. The City Council Liaison to the Airport, and a City department head or designee shall serve as ex-officio members of the Committee. The Committee chairperson shall be elected by the Committee members. This Committee shall meet at least once per calendar quarter. Meets once per quarter and as necessary at the Pilots' Lounge at the Airport.
