Skateboard Park Downtown Ocean Shores SW corner at Chance a la Mer and Pt. Brown Avenue.
The Ocean Shores Skatepark was established in 2010. It was a metal structure with a rubber surface. Unfortunately, the elements of beach living started to take its toll on the structure. Noticeable rust started to affect the integrity of the structure and parts of the rubber surface started to peel away. A coordinated effort between the city and the Parks Board was initiated to see if the structure was repairable. It was determined that it was not repairable and that the only solution was to purchase a new structure. The Ocean Shores Parks and Conservation Group secured funding in order to build a new structure at the park which was completed in the fall of 2023.
